Sunny Saturday and I'm inside

Wow...has it been that long since I last posted??? There not been much going on. Actually I think I have a very dull boring life. 2008 began on a sad note but we won't go into that. It is what it is.


2008 has been a whirlwind of a year so far. April 19th, our youngest son, Eric was married to his sweetheart Lynsey. This is a picture of them at their reception.






We now await the arrival of our very first grandchild..."Princess". She is expected to arrive May 20th however the dr told Joe and Tabitha that she wouldn't go past 2 weeks. What did he know it's been more than 2 weeks. McKinley Addison you can make your arrival anytime. Nana and Poppy are waiting. Nana is excited as this is the first grandbaby and a GIRL. Our next big news is grandbaby #2 - Dylan Thomas is expected to arrive around July 31st. We are so excited as we get 1 of each in the same year.

I've been trying to walk 3+ days a week. Some weeks I'm successful and others..well not. I've going to do the First Missionary Baptist 5K in Henderson, KY Saturday. I texted Karol (my walking buddy) and told her I've entered us in a race next Saturday. You should have heard the call I got. "What, are you kidding?" A race. I reminded her that is a shorted distance than we've been walking.


A bunch of other stuff, most of it boring or too painful. So for now...until next time.
